EverGen is expediting Canada's journey to not just show up, but to compete on the global renewable natural gas stage, combating climate change and helping communities contribute to a carbon-free future, starting on the West Coast.
EverGen is spreading awareness that Renewable Natural Gas doesn't just have a low carbon footprint (like LNG) or a neutral footprint (like wind and solar), RNG is carbon negative.
Renewable Natural Gas
RNG is produced differently than conventional natural gas. It is derived from biogas, which is produced from decomposing organic waste from landfills, agricultural waste and wastewater from treatment facilities.
The biogas is captured and cleaned to create carbon-neutral Renewable Natural Gas (also called biomethane).
EverGen will ensure that Canada doesn't lag behind the top nations fighting climate change through renewable natural gas solutions. Our country will be seen as an innovator in sustainable, green energy production. Incorporated in 2020, EverGen is now established to acquire, develop, build, own and operate a portfolio of renewable natural gas, waste to energy, and related infrastructure projects. EverGen is focused on British Columbia and will grow into other regions in North America in the coming years.
EverGen is committed to maintaining meaningful community relationships, working in collaboration with local communities with a priority focus on working with First Nations bands, whose people make up a significant percentage of our workforce, and whose land we share.
